Rodney L. Stark has practiced law in New Hampshire since 1971, when he began work with the predecessor firm of Wyman & Bean.  Rod has a general trial practice in civil and commercial litigation in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire. Rod provides a broad range of services to the construction industry, and such as contract review, negotiation, and litigation services. 

  

Rod also performs insurance defense work, with an emphasis on professional liability defense, including the defense of architects, engineers, accountants and attorneys. Rod has represented the New Hampshire Bar Association Attorney Discipline Office in specially assigned cases. Rod is a life-long resident of Goffstown, New Hampshire, and has many personal and professional ties to the town and surrounding communities. He provides a broad range of legal services to local businesses. 

 

 

 

Linda E. Fraas is a former nurse and and has practiced with the Law Office of Rodney L. Stark since 2003. She has over twenty years experience in handling all facets of litigation including professional malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, automobile, fire, construction and premises liability claims. She has served as lead counsel in over 70 jury trials in state and federal courts and has successfully defended cases for numerous insurers and companies including State Farm, CNA, Hartford, Allstate, National Grange, One Beacon, Commercial Union, Concord Group, AIG, Shell Oil Company, and The Flatley Company.

Prior to joining the Stark Law Firm, Linda was a partner in the insurance defense firm Hess and Fraas from 1992-2003. She graduated from Franklin Pierce Law school in 1985 and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Hugh Bownes at the First Circuit Court of Appeals from 1983-1985. She has a background in medical, surgical and psychiatric nursing which she applies to the analysis, evaluation, and litigation of cases involving physical and psychological claims of injury.

Linda is licensed to practice law in NH and MA.

Sherry M. Hieber has practiced law with the Law Office of Rodney L. Stark since 1989. Sherry has an active insurance defense practice, including the representation of professionals sued for malpractice, such as real estate agents, attorneys, and medical care providers.  Sherry has defended personal injury claims involving construction practices, products liability and commercial auto claims.  She has authored and presented risk management seminars to attorneys and real estate agents. 

 

Sherry also has an active practice assisting individuals and small companies from the local community, in areas such as estate planning, guardianship, probate of wills, and employment matters.  Sherry is a volunteer mediator in the Superior Court Rule 170 mediation program, and has successfully assisted numerous parties in resolving their disputes without the need to go to trial.  She graduated from the University of Florida College of Law with honors in 1982 and worked as a law clerk for Chief Judge Shane Devine at the United States District Court in Concord, New Hampshire.  She is a member of the New Hampshire, Florida, and American Bar Associations. Sherry resides in Goffstown with her two children and is active in many community organizations.

He also represents individuals seeking advice regarding personal injury cases, estate planning, probate, real estate transactions, and employment disputes. Rod graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, with honors, in 1971. He volunteers as a Rule 170 mediator in Superior Court, and is the moderator of the Town of Goffstown, New Hampshire, an elected office. He is a member of the Manchester and New Hampshire Bar Associations, and is a Fellow of the Justice Society of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation.
